What you describe is a proactive approach, Skid. I like the framework approach to building an inclusive understanding of the academic approach of the institution.
yes sometimes cheating is lack of learning time and the need for work
Better to set a high expectation than remediate "cheating."

Stay away from the notion of "best practices," and go with the authenticity and localization advice from James. There is NO one size fits all. There si no bets practice. The approach you use is always bounded by context.
Building the culture of academic integrity has really come to the forefront of things during the pandemic; however, it is something we should always be nurturing.
Agree. But not let's not reduce it to a formulaic approach.
